Owning a brand new home had always been a dream of Mike and Pat Bezusko. Over the 34 years they lived in their previous home, the Bezuskos searched off and on for the “perfect” new home. So, when they finally decided to make the move, they knew exactly what they wanted - a kitchen with ample counter and cabinet space, a spacious master suite removed from the other bedrooms, a dramatic open floor plan, lots of natural light, a full basement and plenty of curb appeal.

Mike and Pat were already familiar with Dominion as their son’s family purchased a Dominion home several years earlier. "We observed our son’s purchase of a new Dominion home five years ago and have enjoyed many visits to his home and neighborhood over these years. Watching the neighborhood develop and the quality of our son’s home after five years gave us confidence to seriously consider Dominion." Wanting to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law and grandson, they decided it was finally time to start looking for their new home.
They used Dominion’s web site to help narrow down their choices then visited the model in their son’s community. What they found was a home from the Celebration Collection that fit all of their requirements – and then some! The floor plan had the roomy kitchen they were looking for and a private master suite separate from the secondary bedrooms to provide privacy for visitors. “The house is not too big for just two people to take care of yet adequate for entertaining and overnight guests.” Features like a cultured stone front, bay windows, cozy fireplace, dramatic lighting and a convenience center were the icing on the cake.
The Bezuskos spend the majority of their time in their great room. They don’t get tired of it or have the feeling of being in just one room. They attribute this to the great sight lines and changing views of the long entrance hallway, high ceiling, fireplace location, plant shelves, kitchen island height and the well placed, beautiful light fixtures which provide a totally different feel at night compared to the natural light of day.
When asked if they could pick one thing above all others they love about their home, the Bezuskos replied, “Quality and value. We both feel that we got it all with our Dominion home.”
